About US
Mount Coote Stud has been in the Lillingston family for three generations, and with each passing decade, its reputation has only grown. In the latter half of the 20th century, the stud was led by Alan Lillingston—Champion Hurdle-winning jockey and European Three-Day Event Gold Medalist—whose horsemanship laid the foundations for what Mount Coote is today.
That legacy continues under the guidance of his son, Luke, and Luke’s wife Tabitha, herself a former international Three-Day Event rider with an impressive track record. Together, they’ve brought fresh vision to the stud while honouring its time-tested principles.
